- I know what you’re thinking, why on earth is Bob posting photos of old couples on theChive? I agree it’s not something we highlight often, but maybe that’s just the reason why we should. Randomly, last night while I was leafing through the internet I stumbled on a random photo of an old couple in love. Instantly a flood of emotions hit me as I began to think about my own beautiful grandparents who I lost to cancer in the last few years. I’ll sum up by saying that I only wish more attention would be given to the elderly. So moral of my message, don’t neglect old folks, embrace them. They’re some of the most fascinating and wonderful people on the planet.
